NIRVANA EASY, WITHOUT SLASH GNR ARE NOTHING AND THATS A FACT. AXEL ROSE IS CRAP. NIRVANA IS RAW ORIGINAL MUSIC, THERE ARE LOTS OF GUNS N ROSES BANDS, THERE WAS ONLY ONE TYPE OF NIRVANA BAND, NIRVANA THAT IS. KURT IS SUPERIOR TO AXEL, IN FACT PUT SLASH IN NIRVANA AND THERES YOUR PERFECT BAND OUT OF THE TWO. KURT COBAIN IS BETTER THAN GNR ALONE. NIRVANA EASY EASY EASY. I THINK THAT WAS A VERY EASY QUESTION.

Guns was the end of flashy 80's hair metal (Finally)
Nirvana was the begining of 90's guitar-based grunge-rock, from which sprang modern groups like GreenDay, Weezer, P!ATD, etc.
Both fine groups, but Nirvana brought the music back into music, and left the "rock show" behind. Nirvana wins.

i mey Kurt when I was in high school,and he definitly was NOT the person he became. I am not into metal, but I would have to say. GnR, because of "November Rain." I love the song and "Patience" too!
