Recently I've been getting "add as buddy" requests from many unknown ids on MSN Messenger. I started blocking them after a few names started sounding the same and the person is never online. However I keep getting these. What happened? Is this a virus? Has my msn account been posted to a phishing site? How can I stop this?

you probably added it to some site in which the owner sold your screen name to spammers. they probably want to give you links to their products. dont accept them. but it's not a virus.
