A person can be forgiven for some wrong that they have done, once they have realize their mistake and make sure they never do it again for whatever their belief.
I think women have a hymen because there are different religious laws regarding marrying a virgin bride and marrying one that is not a virgin bride.
Each person has their own levels for what they require in a spouse. Some people may only want to marry someone who did not engage in premarital sex, becuase it mmay be important to them. Others may not care as much, but they would have another area that they would consider a priority for them in marriage.
It doesn't mean you are bad, just that probably this person is not right for you. Keep your chin up and he WILL come along.

Any sin can be forgiven as long as you have time to repent of it. The Blood of Jesus Christ can cover all of our sins no matter how bad it is. Once you have been forgiven it is over. God forgives us completely, however people will never let us forget. As for your question about why a women has a hymen? Well, if you check out Jewish tradition. When a man and a women were both virgins and married they consummated the marriage through sex. The man would take a cloth a get blood from the hymen and then go and show his father validating she was a virgin. So, to relate this on a spiritual level. We are considered the virgin brides of Jesus Christ. However, the marriage between Christ and the church can not be consummated without blood.

Premarital sex wasn't a crime until Christianity spread. in fact, that's how Christianity was able to take such a strong hold in the British Isles because there they had a lot of Goddess worship who would allow women to have power, choose their own sexual partners, and never have to marry. Men wanted control over their women and wanted a sure fire way to tell if the child their wife bears is theirs or not. Christianity came along telling men that women were evil and natural sinners and gave them the right to beat their wives, force their daughters into marriage, and men were able to test the woman's virtue. No sex before marriage was made up for women only because if a man didn't have many bastard-born children, well, he was no man at all. Men were also allowed to have other women in marriage, but if the wife were to do so, he was given permission by the church to see her hanged if he would. So, premarital sex, and it being bad... is a Christian ideal that came from the priests and those who translated the bible. It is a single edged sword because men have never in history had their virtue tested or even questioned. If the Christians are right and it is a horrible sin to have sex before marriage, then they must also be right in that Jesus Christ forgives all sinners who believe in him and ask for forgivness. So, it is, in my opinion, wrong to judge a woman based on anything other than personality and intelligence.

This whole virginity thing in many cultures is based on men's insecurities. (If I marry a girl who is not a virgin, maybe I won't be as good in bed as her old partner. I'd better make sure that doesn't happen by marrying a virgin.)
Forgiven? That's between you and god and nobody else's damn business.
As far as the hymen goes, two things: A. You can lose the hymen in other ways besides sex, although mostly for medical stuff. B. More important: If he's a virgin, how would he know ? (Just tell him not all girls bleed when their hymen is broken.) And if he's not a virgin, tell him not to be a hypocrite!

Do you mean premarital or premaritual? If you mean, premarital, that is accepted by many societies around the world and to judge whether it is bad or good would depend on the individual affected and the society the individual is in...
If you mean a premaritual one, well, I haven't heard of such but that could be making love that requires a lot or rituals and is to be accepted yet...

God is the only one who can judge anyone. Anyone else who judges anybody is a hypocrite. Do not judge less he be judged... The only thing that I have to say about premarital sex and women well I believe in equal rights as far as that goes... What a woman does in the privacy of her own life is that her own life and that goes for the man too.. If the woman or man is not married then all is fair in love and war... You better believe that I would still have sex if I was single.... Why not...

People have a past before they meet. My only concerns are these:
Do you love me now?
Will I be the only one you love?
The rest is unimportant.
Besides, hymens can get torn through vigorous exercise or inserting a mousie bed.

To my knowledge, I never had a hymen. So, maybe I was never a virgin by that definition. And, my cousin lost hers in a bike accident.
