My bf of 2 1/2 years - told me that I'm going to have to fight off 2 woman who are after him - my response was - no guy is worth fighting over - if you want me you'll have to kick their butts yourself, also that if they are still in our picture and you haven't done anything about it - I'm not sticking around.
I really don't want to lose him - but I just don't understand why that was so important for him to tell me this - it really hurts my heart after being with him for this long. I just don't get it.

I would say you answered just right!!! If this guy is not treating you like a princess, then maybe it is time to move on. of course you don't want to lose him,but there are plenty of guys out there.Don't accept unacceptable behavior.in other words don't settle for less!!!! you deserve the best!!!!!!

That's the best answer, but at the same time, it sounds like he just wanted to know that you loved him enough to fight for him. I don't think he meant to hurt you.

sticky one, probably not the beat answer, but he for starters shouldnt have made that statement. if he loved u he wouldnt expect u 2 fight off women, because he wouldnt give notice to any of them. good luck dear!
