start off by just walking past the girls in your class and say Hello how you doing and leave it at that and when u have built up the confidence doing that then speaking to them will come naturally.

it's all a mind game. Give yourself a little confidence, remind yourself that you are a great guy and you deserve respect. Then... go up to a NICE girl, tell her something you like about her, maybe a cute dress or something, and try to ease into a conversation like that... it just takes a little practice... it's something you have to learn by DOING
