I really do, because: I've got 2 terrific kids, a considerate husband, a roof over my head (no big fancy expensive house, but one I'm satisfied with), a full-time job I like with co-workers who are for the most part ok, a free-lance writing job that I feel fortunate to have, my health is ok, I have good friends.
What else is there? All the rest is icing on an already fine cake.

Though I have some problems with my family and, well, myself, I am still pretty darn happy with my life. I hate to brag, but I have a face that guys seem to like, and that helps, gives me self-confidence, and I have many passions in life like playing the piano and astronomy and reading and writing, I love my friends and I love meeting new people, I love people, and I love my religion, and, though I have some problems as everyone does, when I step back and look at it all, I am truly happy with my life. If you view a happy life as a perfect life, then you will never be happy. Perfection is impossible. When you learn to accept with and live with difficulties, only then can you truly be happy.

There was play about a guy that wanted to live life knowing ultimate reality the whole time and not living in ignorance or denial. He was miserable. I chose knowledge over happiness too. I've decided that happiness is overrated.

I love my life, I am blessed to have one. Life is what U make it. So...if people are unhappy, they helped to make themselves that way
