My husband is gorgeous and bound to get looks so no big deal. My reply to him was this happens to me in reverse (men looking at me) 10 times a day. When I told him that he got mad and is now being grouchy and saying I should watch what I wear???Why is ok for him to tell me but not me to tell him.

haha wow. i'm a guy and i just realized i do the EXACT same thing with my girlfriend. maen arent as*holes or bitc*es or anything, i really dont know why we do it. if a girl at work checks me out or calls me cute or something, i tell my girlfriend. BUT reading this kinda made me realize that everytime i do, i must sound like a douchebag. its not really to boost our ego or something, i guess your husband does it the same reason i do, to kinda make you realize that there are other women out there that would wanna be with them, but he doesnt care beacuse he just wants you. my girlfriend doesnt tell me when guys check her out so i dont know how i would react if she did, but i might react the same way your husband did. he doesnt sound insecure or anything, he sounds like a good man. sometimes men are just like that, and i speak for them when i say we CAN act like douche bags sometimes. but its ok, cuz you guys will still love us, no matter how stupid some of us are

Sounds like he was looking for a little attention...maybe he was feeling he was not getting it from you as of late and in his male bravado thought that would make him more desirable to you if you though some "lady in a mercedes"...lol....checked him out. Men need ego stroking...maybe even more than women do...From his male standpoint - someone looking at him - should make you think "ohhhhhhhh I'm so lucky to have such a hot man"....and also from his male standpoint - you telling him that guys look at you all the time...he hears (though not want you said or meant)....I want to go sleep with all those guys that look at me - and I don't need YOU cause I could have all of them...
Now alllllllll of that is a little silly really...its the ol' men are from mars and women from venus thang....and truth to all of that but...
Just sit down with him - take his hand and talk to him about it all...if you two have a good relationship - you'll be laughing at each other and with each other over this...then drag him to the bedroom and kiss and make up. ; -)

Sounds like a double standard. Men have big egos and when they get any kind of compliment, obviously they like it. While women are different...some might bet offended by a stare or compliment of some sort.
Maybe he just wanted you to feed his ego, instead you just reminded him how pretty you are and that you get the same attention. And it brought him to jealousy? Men are strange.

Hmmm, i could almost always desire he had saved that expertise to himself. But if we might been going out for a 12 months, and that i had emotions for him, i could have got to gain knowledge of to receive it. Every day although? What, having a w*nk, simply specificly so he can devour it? If i had handiest simply met him and he informed me this, the 'daily' aspect could be adequate to place me off. That and the truth that he shared this information WAY too quickly! His doing it once in a while wouldnt be a hindrance although....

He only told you to see what your reaction was. It was like a self check for himself. He just wanted to test the waters with you or he was looking for reassurance to see if you felt the same way about him. Men can never take what they dish out - let it go and forget about it.

My boyfriend and I are always getting checked out because he is a bodybuilder and I am a personal trainer and lift too....funny......we never get jealous but we do BOTH get a little annoyed when people approach either of us RIGHT IN FRONT OF EACH OTHER....I mean, not direct "pick ups" or anything but women will strike up a conversation with him right in front of me or for instance we were walking out of this gas station this one day, and this guy walked right past me and exclaimed, and I kid you not he says real loudly, "HOLY MOTHER OF GOD!"....we STILL laugh at that one......
I think you both just need to lighten up a little and enjoy the fact you are a handsome couple. hes with YOU isn't he???? he may not even think he is making you jealous.....just wants you to know he IS desireable.....believe me, he wants to hear it and believe it from YOU.

Because he wanted you to know how he is atractive and how faithful he is. Men also need self steem boosters and you just popped his bubble by saying that you get hit on all the time.
You felt jealous, now he is jealous..... tell him how gorgeos he is and how lucky you are to have him. tell him that you are a hot couple and people want to be you both!

There is a rule of men talk and women talk. He needs his ego srtoked and wanted to remind you of what you have....totally visual. But when you told him ditto---he probably envisoned you doing it with one of the 10 and it PO'd him off cuz he realizes what he has. Don't know why, but they cannot take as much as they dish.

Because men BRAG - whereas women are not to be looked at. Most men are afraid their wives will cheat or be forced to have sex. So just keep your mouth shut - and enjoy the looks.
