Iran used to be the most feared by the USA because it was the first Middle Eastern nation to strongly oppose USA foreign policies and was prepared for conflict, which was why the USA quickly seized the opportunity during the Iran-Iraq war to side and provide Iraq with WMD to get rid of Iran, though the USA also provided Iran with weapons to crush Iraq - remember Oliver North (Iran-contra)? No, they are not. It's just the way American politicians use the media to start the new war. They use the media to make American people (and not only American people) think that some country is their number one enemy (and many people believe that because they are too lazy, or they simply don't care to read a bit more about it). America needs all these wars simply because of money. If America hadn't had wars, its military industry would disappear and it would be a HUGE loss for America. So, it's always looking for new fights. There is not much anyone can do about it, but you, Americans should inform yourselves a bit more. That would be nice.

Gemvamp that is true. They are on the list for being supporters of terrorism. Just as Syria and North Korea are. And Gemvamp we are not at war with Iraq.

Iran due to there nuclear intentions will be on the list of who to worry about the most.

That is not entirely true... Different countries with different culture, goals, religion, language, level of democracy, and stuff like that form arbitrarily classified groups, and some groups are more viable than others in certain conditions. We must watch out for different processes and groups, not just any given country like Iran. It is more complex than that. And the winning strategy is much more difficult that understanding the threat.

I hope the government knows what it is doing, and it just gives simple information everyone can potentially understand and support. Othewise, we are in trouble

It is doing what best it can do. But there is an international community also watching the big brother. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. You have to look before you leap, even in international politics.

Iran is actually pretty wimpy in the scheme of the World! They are actually more bark than bite and are not smart enough to actually develop a nuclear weapon.

well they say they don't. North Korea, on the other hand, makes it perfectly clear they do have nuclear capabilities. we should be way more worried about that than Iran, I say
