By doing good things only in your future life

To prevent the bad luck, simply stop believing in the superstition.

Many studies have proven the power of the human mind over its surroundings. If you truly expect bad things to happen to you, then they will. However, if you brush it off and don't worry about it, you'll be fine.

If you ask a large group of randomly selected people if they've had bad luck after breaking a mirror, for the most part, those who believe in the supersition will say yes, and those who don't will say no.

This is not to say that there aren't higher powers at work - whether you are religious, spiritual, or just plain supersitious, there are always things we can't understand. But whoever you are and whatever you believe, if you think positively all the time (far easier said than done of course) then good things will happen. But if you think negatively, you'll bring bad luck or energy or karma or whatever you want to call it.

Breaking a mirror won't really cause bad luck. I've broken a lot of mirrors, and I don't have any worse luck than anyone else - any bad stuff that happened to me since was because of bad decisions, not bad luck.

It is said that you leave the place where the broken mirror lays and leave until midnight and on the first stroke of midnight come back and pick up the peaces of the mirror and throw it away in the trash and take the trash off the property.

I hope you are joking, because breaking a mirror will not cause one to have bad luck - no way! Don't worry about it at all.

Dance naked around it at midnight 13 days after breaking. Light a fire and throw it broken mirror in.
