ok so i know the whole 80's thing is coming back
but i was just wondering, sometimes i see (like on websites i.e. delias, alloy, urban outfitters etc) that there are footless tights and no leggings or footless tights and leggings being sold - so is there a difference between them for the style this fall? when would you wear the leggings over the footless tights?
for example

The difference between leggings and footless tights is that the material that the leggings is made of is thicker and is usually cotton, and the footless tights are exactly that, tights without feet. The leggings are usually better quality and will last longer than the tights. And the tights are a bit translucent, and will not keep you as warm in cold weather than the leggings. I also think, but am not sure that leggings are shorter (cut just below the knee) than the footless tights. I don't think that you would wear the leggings over the tights. And I think both are equally trendy these days but the leggings are just thicker and quite possibly shorter. I hope this helps!

leggings come in different patterns. your not going to find very many footless tights like that. i used to dance so i used to use footless tights. but you have to be very careful the leggings material is different from the footless tights. they rip easier.

no its all in right now especially under denim skirts i dont think it matters what ones you wear ive a red pair and a black pair myself there great with flat shoes and great if your fake tan goes wrong
