I got a sudden headache about ten min. ago and then all of a sudden I could not see out of my right eye normally. It was alomst as if waves were in my eye, it was a little blurry etc... Its hard to explain. My face didn't go numb so I know it wasn't a stroke but also dont know what it was. It also seemed like I lost some side sight vision. Its fine now but what could this be should I go to the doc?

Yes you should go to a doc, and please don't drive yourself.
The symptoms could be a Cerebralvascular Accident (CVA also known as stroke), a Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA is a CVA that goes away and leaves no permanent damage) or Migraine.
Usually a Migraine presents with photophobia and nausea. Are you unable to handle light and should feel sick to your stomach?
Seek medical advice immediately as a stroke may have treatment options within 2 hours of onset.

Sounds like the beginning of a bad migraine. They can cause vision problems and spots or waves before the eyes. If you don't have a migraine then I might be a bit concerned. If it happened again I think I would go to the dr. just to be sure there wasn't anything else wrong.

I get migraines often. I suffer blurred vision, slurred speech, unsteady gait. etc. You need to see a neurologist. He can help you in fact he's the only one that will help you. It's called a prodrome. Boy I feel your pain. get checked out soon. He will perform a number of test to see exactly what the problem is and he will put you on a medication. Believe me, it's worth it.

honey just cuz you didnt notice any numbness doesn't mean you didn't have a small stroke, and the other things you describe are certainly consistant with stroke. I'd be on the phone to my doctor in a heartbeat if I experienced these things.

Migraine! Those are the worst! You can get meds from a doctor but I would try Excedrin Migraine first.

It really sounds like a migraine. I get them alot, Excedrine Migraine works great.
