why a buckskin and why 400? equine.com, dreamhorse.com local barns that do lessons might have older horses that they are retiring, but remember you get what you pay for, older horses usually need special diets that cost more then younger horses, or might have joint problems, a horse for 400 might have behavioral problems, careful people do drug animals that are uncontrollable just to get them off there farm!!! you don't want to end up with something you need to spend thousands on to train!! You don't want to get Hurt either!!

You could try petfinder.com. They have some horses for adoption but there may not be many buckskins. You may want to consider raising your price if you can; $400 will not buy you much horse. Most well-trained decent horses are at least $1500-$2000 and up.

Yeah, I agree. If you want a horse under $400 unless you want one under 2 years or over 20 years that isn't trained at all, you probably can't afford a horse. If you do raise your price or still want to keep looking, try http://agdirect.com, www.equine.com, www.dreamhorse.com, www.equinehits.com
