My husband could speak in full adult conversations when he was 6 months old.
At 11 he had an IQ of 140, and now it is 167.

Not saying that is the only way to know, but if your child hits milestones like that before his time, it is a good sign.
Of course it could also mean he is autistic, which kind of goes the other way on the scale....

Don't worry about the baby being a genius. Just hope it is healthy and be the best parent you can be.

You can have them IQ tested after a certain age, and then you can know for sure. My genius level was proven at age 3.

I hate to break it to you, Dave, but if his genes include those of a Father who asks dumb questions on Yahoo, the chances are slim to none!

you can take him to a child psychologist that can do tests with him, like showing him different cards, colors, things like that, and they will be able to tell you!
