I want to start a zoo, (i want alot of animals that are ilegal as pets) so how do i do this, detailed and serious answers please.

They have to approve your idea, this can tak a lot of time and money, and you have to be willing to follow whatever rules they set out for you. You have to have a plan for emergency situations like what to do if the lions get out or whatever. It might be easier to do an animal scantuary than a real zoo, that way you are helping the animals, and you don't have to worry about all the legal issues that go along with having people at your zoo. I think the first step is to find a piece of property and talk to the city/county and see what they think of the idea, but it will be very very expensive and a lot of work.

Details won't help. Private individuals (not organizations) are seldom considered as "zoo" owner possibilities. Getting a license is only a small problem, but you would need one to begin with. I suggest you begin as an intern at an established zoo. You would get to be around animals without the responsibility of paying for their medical and feeding care.

Yeah you need permits and the animals themselves are not cheap at all. Most zoos are run by some public entity and/or donors. You would also most likely need permission from the city for the space.

you have to have permits for your animals, special insurance for you your pets and the people that come to the zoo, a speical buisness license, LOTS of stuff!
