Has anyone stayed here recently? Is it as good as it looks in the brocures?

yes it is lovely.. good food.. freindly people and nice room... expensive minibar though...

Yes, stayed there a couple of times on my regular visits to Egypt. The hotel is as good as the brochures, so no worries on that front. It is elegant, spacious, has a great pool and the service is good.

The one thing you need to take into consideration is its location. Concorde el salam is located on the outskirts of Cairo, near the Cairo Airport. So if you are there for a 1-2 day business visit, it should be fine, but if you are in Cairo for a few days and you intend on going on multiple visits, try to find a hotel in down town Cairo.

Cairo is a huge, crowded city. Can take you hours to move around in the heavy traffic and Concorde El Salam is far away from the most popular touristic destinations.
