I hope so because im going there next week!!! lol Yer its fine they have stepped up security everywhere, ive spoke to people who live there and they say they feel more safer in Egypt than they do over in the UK, Just think about it. Everytime you turn on the news there is a murder,Stabbing,Car crash. Your more likey to die walking around in the UK streets than getting bombed in Egypt, Dont let petty Terrorists etc stop you from having fun and live your life, If you plan on going , go for it! Egypt is Known to be one of the most beautiful places in the world
I hope you make the right decision, Enjoy yourslef

I thought about this for a long while before booking a trip to Egypt, especially being American. I finally decided through research that it was safe enough despite the bombings that have occured there and I refust to let a bunch of idiots dictate my life. I have learned all to well this past year that if it is your time to go it is your time to go and although being bombed isn't my idea of a good way to go it is meant to be it is meant to be. I refuse to live my life in fear.

Yes its fine and perfectly safe apart from any normal terror attacts which lets be honest you could be walking down ur own road and get shot at or bombed. If you go in to Cairo chances are you will have an escort. I'm in cyprus and they haven't pulled the flight or the cruises off sale yet which we would do if there was a major threat

Yes dear it is totally safe. You said you come from the UK. You had similar bomings just one year ago in London too. If it is about terrorism then all the world is equal. Concerning the Mid East crisis, Egypt is far enough from the hotspots. Don't worry.

If you have any doubts about your safety why dont you go somewhere similar without the safety aspect. I went to Dubai this year. The weather is amazing, the hotels are the best in the world, the excursions are fab, its clean and its only 6 hours on a flight.

Actually as many people had already answered your question it is really safe to travel to Egypt. their was bombing in Egypt , Turkey ,US London ...etc.
Bombing is can't be expected in someplace it can happen any where ? so if you were gonna be in the middle of bombing it might be in Egypt, London Timbuktu.

The whole region is unstable at present, and I would say it is inadvisable for a westerner to travel there at present. I've put the link in for you on current Foreign Office advice on travelling there.
