Stress and illness can delay your period. There are some medications that can delay your period or suppress it.

If you have taken 4 pregnancy tests properly, you are probably not preganant... but you sound very stressed.

You might do well to go see a doctor anyway

yes a medication could affect the results of the test. You are probably not pregnant. Stress can cause your period to be late as well. Is there an adult you trust that you can talk too? I know you are probably very scared. I definitely understand why you would be. Sex is really not a good idea for young girls. You are not mature enough to handle the consequences. I am not trying to preach to you. You have made a choice, and now here you are. If you don't start your period in two weeks. Do another test first thing in the morning with your first urine of the day. If you go into a clinic or see your family doctor they can do a blood test and you could find out right away. The blood tests are far more precise. It can detect pregnancy even earlier. Depending on the outcome, from now on, if you are going to have sex...use precautions...condoms and foam or even wiser get on the pill. You have to behave like an adult if you are going to engage in adult acitvities. You have to be resposible. Condoms also can prevent exposing yourself to std's or even God forbid HIV. I wish you the very best. Take a deep breath. Relax...things will work out. But, sweetie, you cannot not do this on your own. Find an adult that you trust to help you. My suggestion, in a moment of calmness...talk to your Mom!! She loves you. She may be disapointed, hurt, or even angry at first, but she will do the right thing. Remember you are her baby girl....no matter how old you are. Good Luck.

No honey it has not been known for any prescription to stop the flow of your menstrual cycle. The stress could be the reason though try to stop worrying about it so much. Give yourself another week or two for the actual outcome and if not take another test. But I will inform you that when I first got pregnant my period was late and I took 4 different pregnancy test that came out negative. Then about two weeks later I started getting really sick and I still hadn't had my period. So then my baby's father suggested that I take another test, so I did and you see I said my baby's father so you know the outcome. So just make sure that you are ready if you are because it isn't easy and the relationship with your baby's father seems to go down hill. I really do hope that your not pregnant because you seem to young you have your whole life ahead of you. Stop focusing on these no good *** ****** and get your education, and if you are going to do it which I know you will. At least be safe and smart about it. Good Luck let us know the outcome.

If you are taking a test and it's coming back negative, either you aren't and you're just sick, or you haven't waited long enough to take the test. Pregnancy tests are pretty accurate, so I would say if you have waited at least a week after your missed period, you aren't pregnant hun. But you can go down to your local health dept. and get a test there, They usually do them for free and they are very accurate. As for the medication, I have never heard of someone's meds inerfearing with a test. Call you doc and ask. Good luck!

Since you are already late, the tests are probally 99% accurate. A blood test would be 100% accurate but the odds of 4 false negatives if your past your due date is low.

If you are going to have sex, you should consider birth control. It's 99% safe and when used with a condom is almost fool-proof. Also, BC regulates your period.

You could have taken the test too early. Or you are late because you are stressed out and have been taking medication. If you are really concerned you should get a blood test or wait another week to take a test.

Medication can effect everything, and being stressed can definately affect your period, if your days late, wait another week or so, and take another test, but if it comes back negative, go to the doctor, and dont always believe home pregnancy tests, i took 5, they all came back negative, i went to the doctor, and i ended up being 2 months pregnant!

Being sick...being on medication...being stressed out...

All of those can have an effect on your cycle.

Give it another week and if you haven't seen your period, try another test.
