Why was it ignored by the prior administration when terrorists were in this country, for 7 years mind you, planning their attack & learning to fly planes?? You remember the one with the guy that ran around with his pants down most of the time, making a mockery of this country. He opened the door for 9/11 to happen very soon after Pres. Bush's term started. Why don't you state an educated, non-angry question and maybe some will actually take you seriously??

The Bush administration used 9-11 as a way to manufacture the consent of the american people for an invasion into the middle east. It couldnt ignore it, because it was the "free pass" necessary for people to justify what we did. Im sure the Bush administration knew and was waiting when those planes took off.

It's not an idiot question at, all. It's much like the ones I ask, and get about the same conservative (blind faith) rhetoric, as usual.

It's been proven. Those in power chose not to act on it, and that's a fact, as well. Their goal? To get a foot hold in the Mid-East, an excuse to go in. example--we go to Afghanistan looking for bin Laden, then (re) deploy a great many of those troops to Iraq (to get all the terrorists)? Yeah, right. It was all a plan. I don't know how to create a link, but I do know a great site

The problem is not just with the Bush Adm. It's with Congress as well. Their many "committees", investigate, but do not act. Try this site and pass it on. Everyone needs to get better educated. Soon!--- www.worldnetdaily.com---A real eye opener.

Ignored 9/11? You are not making sense. I believe he used the aftermath of 9/11 for political gain, but I don't think he ignored the actual event itself.

Well, so much for the 8 years before that when Clinton had a shot at Bin Laden.

And then theres the nothing that he did about:
- The First WTC attack
- Khobar Towers
- African Embassy Bombings
- USS Cole

And he left soldiers out to dry in Somalia as well.....

I don't think he has ignored it but I do believe he has used it for his own purposes going after Sadum Hussain is a good example its cost countless lives and billions of dollars when we should have gone after Bin Laudin ( who we still don't even know where he is) I believe he went after Sudam ( who granted is a evil man but only 1 of the many running countries today ) because he had threatened to kill bush senior years before.

Ignored? I do not understand how he ignored 9/11. Remember, this is not a monarchy we live in, so he is not the only one calling the shots.

He omitted warnings about terrorism concerning commercial airplane. He gained political capital from 9/11 and right now squandered it in Iraq. He has the U. S. at odds with Russia, China, and various something else of the international. He has been a disaster for the U. S., NATO, and the western democracies. Bush, "Dick" Cheney, and something else of the neocons used 9/11 to water down the structure, and erode civil rights.
