Dress nice according to the job you are app ling for. Sit up straight but lean forward slightly. Look the interviewer in the eyes especial when answering questions. Be polite. THINK before you answer.

As an interviewer, here are some key pieces of advice. Be on time, know a little about the prospective company. Answer the question asked, be confident but not cocky. Dont try to be someone or something you are not. Your interviewer will appreciate this. Do not make derrogatory remarks about your previous employer, remember the person you are interviewing with may be your previous employer some day. Oh, and one more thing, leave your cell phone in the car.

ask them what parts of that business form a challenge. they love that. they don't want to think you're just there for a pay check. don't be dumb and ask about how much vacation you get either
i took a course on resumes once. the one thing i remember is that they will throw a white paper resume in the trash much quicker than they will one typed on yellow parchment paper
don't over dress or under dress for a job interview. if the job is for auto mechanic don't wear a suit. if the job is for executive don't wear blue jeans and a t-shirt.
there are plenty of web sites that can teach you what to ask and how to act

Be clean, be polite, show interest, know something about the company, and MOST OF ALL:
Look the interviewer in the eyes, especially when you answer a question.
