it was supposed to be cheesy

and it succeeded wonderfully

I thought it was a hoot

It was O.K. - the key thing to remember is that...
...IT WAS A PARODY...
...it made fun of almost everything in the comic/superhero genre - and some people Just Didn't Like That.
