We were all born with sinful natures. Doesn't that mean, then, that we have the choice in life on whether or not to act on those sinful natures? Pedophiles, homosexuals, gender trading, lying, adultery, deception, sex outside of marriage, murder, etc.? Would a pedophile be able to march in the streets, get a coolition together of other child molesters, and get legislators to make the rest of society accept their lifestyles because they were "born" that way? Since children are murdered in-utero, would children also be "fair game" because, then, the rights of pedophiles would be more important?

Well DUH! You asked a question and then in the first and second sentence you JUST answered it. Male or female, its your choice who you want to love or find love from, or what you want to become as an adult (gender bending not trading, born a man youll die a man no matter what you look like or what surgeries you have and vice versa). And altho coolition would be a good definition I think you mean coalition and no pedofiles dont have the rights as "good" citizens do. They have to register as pedofiles, put announcement on their homes and yards. A pedofile wouldnt get too far with or without buddies in a signing of a peition. The fact that a fetus is killed is not the fault of the child, it never had a chance to sin, nor was it born 'into' sin. The mother will be judged on her judgement day. Personally I think mothers who kill their children should be held responsible as any other murderer is. She killed and she cant use the "unborn not being a baby till its born" excuse with technology today. The mother who kill their born children shouldnt be able to use the "devil made me do it" or the "Jesus told me they would be evil on" excuses.A murder is a murder. A murderer is a murderer. POINT BLANK. Homosexuals back when the Bible was written werent as well known or as open as they are today. I honestly dont think the comments made in the Bible would have been made if people were more open about their sexuality. God knew what was going to happen then and today before it even happened. Besides I think the people knew before Christ died that they were wrong but they didnt have the choices we do today after Christ died. Christ died so that we could have a choice. God knew He was going to have a Son who would die on the cross, He just gave people different kinds of choices beforehand, like Moses or Paul or Rebecca.
To get back to the children being "fair game", what does that have to do with pedofiles? A child or anyone for that matter didnt have a choice to be murdered. That pedofiler had a choice to be a pedofile or not. All the liars, adulterers, decepters had a choice. God allows all sin...He dont will it but He allows it. So NO, no sin is justifiable, you can make excuses but they are not justifiable. NO MATTER what the sin is.

No you can't use that lame excuse. Original sin and accountable sin are two different things. You are held accountable for the murders and adultery and so on. I don't think that pedophiles are "born that way". I believe that we all have weaknesses and when we let the Devil in we act on those weaknesses and then the evil takes over our minds leading to pedophilia, and other such things. That is why we can't treat rapists and serial killers and pedophiles because we treat an illness. There is little hope for pure evil!!!! Only God can help those people!!

The notion that "we are born in sin" is Christian propaganda designed to keep you subject to the church's control. The bible's old testament is the written record of one middle eastern tribe. While contemporary Jewish thinking springs from that source, it has evolved considerably in the centuries since. In the early years of the Christian era, there was much discussion and dissent about what it all meant. When Constantine, the Roman emporer, converted to Christianity, he wanted a standardized version throughout the empire. So he called a council to define Christianity. The council was not attended by most Christian factions; those attending got to define Christianity., We westerners were born into this tradition, which subsequently was enforced by persuasion or banishment, and if that failed, in extreme cases by death. Unfortunately the United States, uniquely among western democratic countries, is into a literal interpretation of the bible and the centuries of piled up interpretation of the bible. Be aware that you do not have to buy into any of this if you do not chose to. And guess what, nothing bad will happen to you inspite of whatever the evangelists and other religious leaders say. They're simply defending theirclaims to spiritual power over you. Just say NO, and think for yourself!

God our Father does not make mistakes..no one is born gay or lesbian ect. These are wounded children please get some professional help, we have choices in life but WE..tend to put labels for excusing our SINS ! Like if we call an unborn infant a FETUS we will feel less guilty if we MURDER the baby through ABORTION(a fancy word for murder)..and we excuse drug addiction with genes that follow us ect..come on people Call it for what it is .WE HAVE CHOICES if we cover SIN which is in our nature we are ok ..NOT! Seek the truth our Bibles tell us that we shall know the truth and the truth shall set us FREE! Our sins cannot be justified by labeling them or making excuses for them.

We all have the option of committing sins. The sins that we commit are not justified though. We are not 'born in sin ' . We are born pure and true , until we do something that is sinful. No it would not be okay for them to do that . It will never happen either. Do you want it to be that way ? Do you want all of those types of people to have the right to keep on doing all of the horrible things that they are doing now ? I would really like to know what is going on in your head , to make you think of this.

It isn't, thats just a little excuse someone made up to get out of it. You are born with sin, whether you are like it or not. You can say you are born that way, but It doesn't mean anything. That's why God sent his son to be killed. For you. Don't make it a joke by saying "I can't help it if I sin, I was born that way".

No, being born with a sinful nature does not excuse sinful behavior. A person makes a choice to do and action or not. We all have the freedom to choose our actions.

I think it is up to all of us to maintain a decent equilibrium. I don't believe that anyone can use the excuse "I am born this way" when it comes to acts that injure another person. I will accept anyone's personality, sexual preference, race, origin, etc. but I cannot accept the inhumane treatment (which I believe is made through choice) of another human being. A lifestyle choice is one thing, but to deliberately harm another human being is another thing altogether.

I believe that everyone is born with a clean slate. We are just born into an already sinful world. The choices that we make after we are born are completely our own.
