Jesus Christ told us to love one another with a true heart, fervently.. He loves you no matter what you have done, or what you might do, or what you haven't done.
The hardest bit must be to love those people who hate others.

Ever heard the expression "Father please forgive them, they know not what they do."?
They don't know any better. Some people get so angry the worst thing they can think to do is spew hatred and threats of burning in hell. Then when you continue to turn them down, it makes them even angrier. I agree that this is the devil at work.
It gets to a point when all I can do is shake my head quietly. Sometimes, though, I do throw in a smartass comment. I recently had someone here at school tell me I was going to hell and I told her, "If that's the case, I'll save a seat for ya', okay?"
Should have seen the look on her face.

You are correct, God is love, and why would he burn anyone forever for being disobedient, would you burn your children, of course not.
The Bible says that a person can change from bad practices, some of the early christians had changed before, notice what 1 Corithinians 6:9-11 "What! Do YOU not know that unrighteous persons will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men, 10 nor thieves, nor greedy persons, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit God’s kingdom. 11 And yet that is what some of YOU were"

Bless you and I appreciate this. I am a lesbian and I grew up in church, too. I have battled with my sexuality vs. my Christianity all the time. But let me tell you, the bigots and bashers that get on here who claim they are Christians and spout the Bible in such hate filled ways.....they kill it for the rest of us. Yes, being a Christian is a choice but what you choose to do with that Christianity is up to you. I'm all for the whole "witnessing" thing. Have at it!!! If you help someone...good for you! Way to go! But don't spout things at us in such a hateful way. Really....it's not necessary and we're not 2 yrs old. Thanks for posting this, though! I really appreciate it.

They do not realize that what they do is hate filled. You see that is how Satan works he twist a persons discrimination into hate and once he gets them to hate and full of self righteous fury he has won. The only hope for them is to repent of their hatred and accept Christ back into their hearts.

Give Papa S a biiiiig Amen!! Two Amens!
Jesus never said one word against gay people. In fact, he wanted us to love one another. 'Christians' who preach hatred, bigotry, discrimination and therefore violence against LGBT people are therefore going directly against these teachings.

because it is our duty as Christians or witnesses for Christ to spread God's word and try to help you come to him by removing yourself from sin and turning to him
