While the rollover minutes start to expire in a year, those few times when you run out of minutes during a month, these come in handy. During the course of a year, I probably used some roll over minutes twice. It felt great to NOT GET WHACKED on my bill for minor over-minutes charges.
If you are WAY below your plan minutes, this is not a feature that you need, but it will give you peace of mind.
Months before I used all of my minutes, I tried to use the Cell phone a bit more on the last two days of each month, before the billing cycle ended, to see how close I could come. But as time goes on, you use your cell phone more and more.
Be careful

Yes.
For example, if you have 500 Anytime Minutes in August and use 450, in September you will have 550 Anytime Minutes to use.
BUT they only last for 12 months.
Rollover Minutes are unused, accumulated, Anytime Minutes that roll over from month to month for up to 12 billing periods. The benefits to include the ability to keep unused Anytime Minutes and use them when they are needed. Additionally, you can avoid paying Additional Minute charges by using accumulated Rollover Minutes instead (also known as your Current Rollover Balance).

You use your rollover minutes after you have completely used up your anytime minutes. Your roll over minutes can also expire after a year. So if you had an extra 100 minutes from last month and never needed them through out the year than they would expire next year that month.

you use your rollover minutes if and only if you go over your original minutes. I find sometimes rollover to be good but most of the time ita waste. we pay for all these minutes and you dont use them most of the time. i am closeto ending my contract and i have 10,000 rollover minutes!!!
