I am going into sevent grade, I'm almost 13 (september 3rd) and I want to wear makeup to school. My mom will probably let me because for Christmas she gave me this make up thing with lip gloss eyeliner, and some other stuff. I have light brown hair with blondish highlights that are natural (i got them from the sun) and I have brown eyes and and freckles that aren't that noticeable from a short distance but if ur up close you can seee them. My skin is really tan because for spring break we went to florida, and I got a tan there, and I did track and field at school so I ran outside in the sun, and now I go to the pool so I'm still tan. Any make-up suggestions besides "you're too young to wear make-up". I was thinking about neutural, natural colors and not to much of them. I am not going to go out looking like a clown or a whore/sl*t so you don't need to worry about that. Thanks for the help!

A little shimmery bronzer on your cheeks and eye lids and some mascara and you should be set!

It sounds like your pretty!
Brown hair with brown eyes and some freckles sounds really good.
What would look the best is just a little black eyeliner, but only a little...put it on the outer edge of your eyes kind of like a "V"
with a little on the top and a little on the botton. Make it so it's only on that outer corner.
Then curl your eyelashes and use some black mascara.
If you want some blush I'd only use a little bit of a suntan color, and put it way up high on your cheekbones by you hairline. Don't come down too far. That way it will highlight your tan and not take away from that.
Then use a little nautural color lipstick like a raisin color.
This will be beautiful, but still natural.

If I were you I would start with a simple, basic brown-black eyeliner pencil and brown-black mascara.

Maybe a nice rosy cream blush would look good on the apples of your cheeks. You probably shouldn't wear foundation yet since your a first-timer and you're tan. Maybe some concealer for under your eyes or blemishes.

Ask your mom or a friend who already wears make-up (and actually knows how to wear it and look good) to help you pick out some good stuff at the drugstore.

Good luck!

well for ur cheeks u should use a light blush(like light pink or brown). for ur eyes u should use a green, blue, pink, or something noticable, maybe even gold. but not too dark. and use eyeliner. i know u said that u dont like mascara, but it really makes ur eyes more noticeable. and of corse use cover up that matches ur skin. to finish off ur look ur should use a shiny/colored lip gloss. i hope this helped. good luck!

just don't put on a load of blue eyeshadow or lots of black eyeliner!

ask your mom for help when you first start out or apply it yourself and ask your mom what she thinks.

if you go to a hairdresser that happens to have a makeup person, you can ask them too. i can't imagine it would cost much money for a bit of a consultation.

either way try to keep it relatively natural, maybe a bit of mascara and some lip gloss, maybe a lighter eyeliner applied sparingly.

eventually you'll learn what looks best on you.

i use bronzing powder but u prolly dont need that b/c ur tan, i have tannish skin 2, so use gold/green eyeshadow and a light pink blush that is just dark enough 2 b noticeable. try a lip gloss that is not to bright and that brings out your natural color. a sheer blue lip gloss really enhances ur natural lip color. good luck!:)

13 year old? You only might need lip gloss, and that is not necessary. I am serious. You have the whole life ahead of you for using makeup.

Just wear clean clothes, and smell clean. That's all you have to worry about at 13.

note:
apply facial moisturizer with spf 30 and allow it to dry before you do anything to your face. this is to protect your skin from aging.

the "natural look"

-use a concealer, a shade lighter from your skin tone and dab on to unevenly toned areas (if you feel you can cover up your freckles then do it)
-Use lip and cheek tint from Bodyshop - obviously it has dual purpose.Spread some on your cheek bones, and on your lips.
-Use curlash, to "pop out" and emphasize those eyes.
-Apply lip moisturizer, choose a line with U.V protection. Try hawaiian tropic.
-Then if you want to emphasize your tan, put some shimmer...but i think it only works for night make up so hold it for the day.

goodluck on your first day of school funk

remember if you participate in pe or go to the pool on a daily basis make up will smear, run, and blind you by getting in your eyes. you are absolutely right less is better. You have the right idea. I suggest a waterproof mascara. but go with something pink for lips, they aren't meant to be brown. and also remember that make up is meant to bring out your features and only you and your mother turely know your facial features.

Pinks and frosts like green and light blue, use the sheer pink gloss and pink for your cheeks, you dont need too much since you are going into 7th grade, it makes others think you are trying to grow up too fast, and anyways, i think you are probably pretty without alot of makeup, good luck.
