Bring your friend to a doctor.
Get her tested for toxoplasmosis, it is a common enough infection of people by a microscopic parasite common to cats and rodents. Also get her tested for schizophrenia, it could well be that she's just plain delusional.
And in the meantime, gently but calmly assert yourself. Don't be mean, aggressive or abusive, but *do* insist that she behave like a human in your presence whether she feels that way or not. Tell her life is too short for that game and that if she keeps acting the way she is you will walk out and stay gone until she sees fit to stop and *stay* stopped.
Really. Don't reward her acting out by staying around or paying it any positive attention.
Beyond that, I don't know what to tell you, except....this sort of thing might become more common than what you think fairly soon. So at least you have a heads-up if nothing else.

Find out why she does it maybe there is something going on her life that she is trying to hide from and being a cat might be making her feel like if she is a cat then she doesn't have to worry as human or feel the pain that we as humans do

Yeah, that's pretty weird. Either she is trying to shock you or freak you out, or she has real problems. Is she just doing it around you, or is she always weird?

If you don't feel comfortable around her then don't hang out with her anymore.... or you can just accept her and give her some cat nip

yeah that is weird. Maybe you can ask her why she does the things she does. Or maybe if it gets to weird for you, you should stop being her friend because that's really creepy. goof luck.

Well, I'd say just be nice and ask her why she's doing that. If you don't get a response, don't dump her, just accept her ways.
