With vitamin and protein supplements. Good point. Lima beans would be lacking in certain essential nutrients for a healthy died. When I was in the Marine Corps, we ate C-Rations. One of the food items that came in them was lima beans. You could not give them away.

If you ate nothing but lima beans for a year, you would likely not survive to collect the million dollars...lima beans lack most essential nutrients needed for you to live. So, NO.

It sounds pretty cut and dry, but 365 days of eating just lima beans (or anything else for that matter) may not be that easy. In any case, For a million bucks, you bet your sweet lima beans!!

The lima bean is palatable and nutritious both immature as a fresh vegetable and mature as a dry pulse. Beans are high in starch, protein and dietary fiber and an excellent source of iron, potassium, selenium, molybdenum, thiamine, vitamin B6, and folic acid.

I am getting 12000 a year on disability and I am living on Ramen.
I think beans would be a welcome change.
If I were to make another 9 988 000 a year I would be eating the really good beans, kidney beans.
So my answer is yes I would eat lima beans for a year for a million dollars.

nope.

Hate lima beans....plus, you would get sick and possibly die, as lima beans don't have all the nutrients the human body needs to survive. That is why we evolved as omnivores.

Plus after tax, be like $400,000, then my friends and relatives would be whining for some and I'd only end up with $100,000...and thats not worth it.

No, though I love lima beans. However, I'd eat raw meat and nothing else for a year for half the amount you mention.

I would have to check that eating only lima beans for a full year wouldn't kill me first. If I'd survive it, then yes, I would.
