I would be very concerned. That would be EXTREMELY uncharacteristic of him. I would probably take his temperature, ask him what's wrong, and bring him some coffee and chicken soup. =)

See if he is on something, but if he had a really long week working then I would maybe give him some slack for a day. Now if this is a continuous thing then I would have to sit down and talk to him, plan something for the weekend. However, if it just happened one weekend, he may not be feeling well.

I would think that he was totally exhusted from working all week.!
Was he getting up late and going to bed late all week? it seems people don't get enough exercise these days so his body could be telling him to rest. Why not suggest some activity that involves a relaxing time for both of you. You need to both to give a little bit or you destroy your relationship.
if it's none of the above then check for drugs. Legal or not legal!
Maybe he is taking something or smoking something to relax.
What ever you do. Go easy... This is someone you love! No nagging sister girl.......

Well I guess I would take into consideration why maybe he needed the extra rest. If I felt that there was a valid reason I would simply leave him be and just check on him every few hours. If I felt that he was simply being lazy and avoiding work or participating in his family life I wouldn't tolerate it. I would wake him up and demand that we talk about what is going on. Life is too short to spend in bed unless you are havin' fun!

First you need to find out why your partner is sleeping so much... alcohol, drugs, work, just don't want to be with you... then tell him what you are thinking and if things do not get any better kick his *** out... and tell him that you are not living with him because you wanted to be alone. You can do that by yourself. Tell him that you are with him because you want to spend time and do things with him... If he can't at least be awake when you two are together then you two don't need to be together... Tell him to get out... then go out and find some new friends... If he really cares about you he will see things your way and straighten up... If he is on drugs or drinks alot of alcohol then you really need to think about leaving yourself because he isn't going to change until he loose everything including you... So what I say is don't use your pretty all on him. Find someone who will appreciate what you have to offer them... If you are married and end up separating then wait until you are divorced before you even think about getting into a relationship with someone else... just better that way....

I would think that he was tired or ill. That is why husband did last weekend, he was ill, and he had worked a 70 hour week and needed the rest.

Is he ill? Was it a really hard week? Is this what he does every week? If its what he always does I'd tell him to get up or get out, or I'd spend the weekend in bed too, fending only for myself.

Sounds like what my husband does alot. What I do is go on with life and maybe one day he will realize what he has missed in mine and my daughters life.

Sometimes, i just keep bugging him until he gets out of bed.

It really depends on the reason if he was sick I would let him sleep, however if he was just sleeping to be lazy and I needed him to do something or he didnt have a job that he was working all week I would smack him upside the head and tell him to get his lazy a$$ up

Get yourself a bag of marbles, put them in the freezer overnight and when he won't get out of bed throw them under the covers with him. He might get it then.
