There is no way possible to have 'one' romantic song. I am 53 years young and over the course of my musical years, I have heard many, many romantic songs that I still hold true to my heart. I am only naming a few: "Does Anybody Know, How to Get in Touch with Joe" - Nancy Wilson (jazz), 'I Thought It was You" - Herbie Hancock, Your Precious Love (Marvin Gaye/Tammy Terrell), Back Together Again (Donnie Hathaway/Roberta Flack) Smokin Room - Chaka Khan and there are many other songs by her, Denise Williams (Free) , Jimmy Mack, The Bells (by Laura Nyro). Secret Garden , Strawberry Letter 23 (Brothers Johnson) ...need I go on? Obviously, I have a long, long list and I have not begun to touch the surface of the songs from the 60's and 70's. We need to talk. (smile)

"Wedding Song (There Is Love)"

Written and Recorded by "Paul Stookey"
©1971 Public Domain Foundation
Album: "Paul and" - 1971

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
He is now to be among you at the calling of your hearts
Rest assured this troubadour is acting on His part.
The union of your spirits, here, has caused Him to remain
For whenever two or more of you are gathered in His name
There is Love, there is Love.

A man shall leave his mother and a woman leave her home
And they shall travel on to where the two shall be as one.
As it was in the beginning is now and til the end
Woman draws her life from man and gives it back again.
And there is Love, there is Love.

Well then what's to be the reason for becoming man and wife?
Is it love that brings you here or love that brings you life?
And if loving is the answer, then who's the giving for?
Do you believe in something that you've never seen before?
Oh there is Love, there is Love.

Oh the marriage of your spirits here has caused Him to remain
For whenever two or more of you are gathered in His name
There is Love, there is Love.
