Are there any writable CD's that i could buy that hold more than 700mb?

I have tried burning files to a dvd writable disc, my computer can burn on dvd writables but it didnt read the disc..not sure why

copy the dat file in mpeg folder your CD on to hard disk and using VCD cutter cut all the unwanted scenes and join the portion which u need and make it a 700 or less MB file and then burn it on to the CD. It will automatically convert to dat file.

Note: Burn the CD with movie option only, not as data option

(Incase if you want burn a DVD use DVD decrypter to convert and burn the file to ISO folder. Only use VOB format to convert for the DVD to play on all DVD players.)
