I was confused by that anti-liberal remark that all libs do is appease foreign enemies.
Carter said he wouldn't deal with the Iranian hostage takers and didn't. Reagan said he wouldn't deal with Iranian hostage takers and instead we had Iran-Contra (remember, arms for hostages?)
Kennedy/Johnson/Truman all sent US troops to fight Communism in foreign countries. Nixon, the Republican, pulled them out.
It was a liberal, FDR, who wanted to join GB at the outset of WWII, but was prevented from doing so by the Neutrality Act. He got around that by Lend Lease until 12/7/41 made it possible for him to take the fight to our enemies.

Dear SARGE___: WTF? In't it the NeoNazis who pushed BushCo to have "the Government" exact revenge on Iraq for something done by a bunch of Saudis all in the name of national security? BTW, why don't you post an email so people can debate you with facts?
The main thing I'm bitching about is an illegal attack on a neutral nation which had nothing to do with 9/11, which has eroded all the good will the US had on that date, which has cost BILLIONS which could be better spent at home, which has diverted resources away from catching the alleged perpetrators of that crime, and from which there is seemingly no suitable way to extricate ourselves? How can anyone undo the damage Bush did by invading Iraq?
In your and his short-sighted leap to inflict harm on anyone who looks muslim, you and he have created umpteen thousand more martyrs willing to kill Americans while making the US less safe against future attacks.

And all they do is whine about the Liberals being in their way. This makes absolutely no sense seeing as how they control both houses right now. They blame us for everything and they are the ones in power. Pathetic, huh? And they can't open their minds...part of being a Conservative is being close-minded. Any time a Democrat has an idea and presents it to their colleagues in the Senate or in Congress, the Reps shut it down and call them anti-American, un-patriotic, etc... Then a couple months later, you will see a Republican come up with the same idea, and they will be hailed as a genius. Their plans work out perfectly.
You know, I never used to be this critical of the right. Here recently, though, I have become more and more angry at them. I think it started with the stem cell veto. I know it was just Bush that did that, but it got me on a roll.

Maybe we'd be willing to open up our minds to the concept that maybe you knew what you were talking about if you actually presented possible solutions instead of constantly b!tching, griping, whining, moaning and complaining about the problems. And oh, by the way, any solution that begins with the words "The government should..." doesn't count. Or maybe it's because so many of the wonderful social programs the liberals came up with don't work (case in point: the idea of rehabilitating criminals, which has been proven over and over again to be futile). And when will the liberals admit to their own hypocrisy? You people are supposed to be the ones who are more enlightened, more open-minded, and more accepting, yet anyone who doesn't agree with your point of view is a stubborn, closed-minded, neanderthal religious fanatic. What's wrong with this picture?

I have NEVER rec'd a straight answer from a Liberal.
Every time I ask them a question they run right back their top 10 list. I don't want a prerecorded answer. Answer the questions that I am asking.
So yeah, I think that most Liberals just whine.
