In the technical sense, it is doesn't exist . . . in the broad sense, it can be the period of time bracketed by an hour, a day, a week, etc. Perhaps it can be defined as that narrow band of time which can still be manipulated . . . it is not the past (which definitely can not be altered) and not the future (which also can not be readily influenced).
