I hate the Yankees because I'm a Mets fan and its the right thing to do.
Just like Yankees fans are supposed to hate the Mets.

Hate. Everyone should hate the Yankee's. And the reason is their hideous fan base. A bunch of loud mouth, arrogant, morons half of whom are 13 year old girls in love with Derek Jeter and the other half who couldn't name anyone from the Yankee roster before 1996, yet brag that "we've won 26 World Series." Yeah, congratulations on all those titles before 1950. The whole organization and its fans claim to be about pride and class, but they employ and cheer for two steriod users(CHEATERS!!!) while crucifying, deservedly, Bonds and, undeservedly, A-Rod. They're all fairweather losers. I've never heard more complaints about a team that is 20+ games over .500 and is in first place. I have no problem with the money they spend, just don't go spreading your propaganda about winning with homegrown players.

Ok so let me answer you this question. I like the Yankees b/c unlike other people( bandwagon fans) My first game was at Yankees Stadium. The Yankees fit my personality of discipline no fiscal hair and how they handle the media. they are expected to perform b/c of the of the millions they are worth. Am not one of them who answer question with the Red Sux or Go yankess all the way thats just Gay, I love and actually keep up with the team, am also not the tipical yankee fan who just wears a cap and says he is a fan.

I LOVE the Yankees because they are SO COOL!!!! And they also have 26 World Series and 39 American League Divsions and I live near Yankee Stadium, well, in Connecticut, about 2 hours away from my town, so I go for the team that is close to my home.

I've asked myself this question before and I can't seem to find the answer. I just hate the Yankees with an absolute passion. I'm not really sure why. I wasn't raised to hate the yankees or anything. Part of it might be that it seems they buy their team and that's not fair. Part of it might be how arrogant, rude, and idiotic most of the players seem. I'm just not sure. And I'm a Chicago (GO CUBS) native so there's no rivalry reason there either. I just hate hate hate them.

I hate the Yankees because I'm a Red Sox fan, and all they have to do is pay a ton of money for good players, they are a prime example of why baseball needs a salary cap.

I'm a Red Sox fan... now I know being a Red Sox fan I'm to hate The Yankees... but the truth is... I don't hate the Yankees with a Passion like some Red Sox fans... I don't like them or cheer for them... but I don't wish hateful things on them... or their fans...

The Yankees are the best and I'm from Florida. They won 3 world series in a row then skipped a year and won another.

The Yankees take themselves much too seriously. How can you respect that from a group of men playing baseball? Watching them is painful.
