What To Expect When Your Expecting
by Arlene Eisenberg, Hiedi E. Murkoff, & Sandee E. Hathaway, B.S.N. with a foreword by Dr. Richard Aubry.
Also, try What To Expect The First Year & What To Expect The Toddler Years. These will get you through to the child's 3rd Birthday

"What to Expect When You're Expecting" was the absolute best. It tells you what common ailments are every month, what to expect at doctor visits and how the baby is developing.
It calmed a lot of my fears to see what I thought of as abnormal as common.
I also bought a week-by-week book, but I don't remember the name. I gave it away a few months ago. I just didn't like it as much.

Natural Childbirth the Bradley Way is the best book I bought. It tells everything you need to practice in order to have a baby.

What to Expect While Expecting. I bought it and then when I went for my first Dr. visit they gave it to me! So I have 2, my husband took one of them so he can read it. Your pregnancy week by week is good too

"Belly Laughs" by Jenny McCarthy. It's a really quick read and it's hillarious!! It's a nice brake from all the "informative" books I read all throughout my pregnancy. It's really funny..because she makes fun of the many symptoms that we pregnant women go through. It really cracked me up.

Your Week by Week Pregnancy, by Dr. Glade Curtis. I liked it better than "What to Expect..." because it went by weeks, rather than months.

what to expect when you're expecting
jenny mccarthy's "belly laughs" and "baby laughs" (they are sooo funny!)
and i've been reading TONS of girly books, like the shopaholic series by sophie kinsella and other fun novels
also, i've been reading a lot of baby magazines and parenting magazines.
the fun reads are for me b/c all my friends and family keep telling me to read now, b/c soon i won't have time to read anything!
take care.
