Logistics. Thin client is great when you have a workforce which can be located anywhere. Thick client is higher maintenance, wth client software and configuration having to take place. With the work force being more and more on the road, or working from home etc then thin client is where its at!! (IMHO!!!)

Two schools of thought on this one -- you have to make the choice that's right for your office.
With thick clients, the software is loaded on each PC.
With thin clients, the software is loaded on the network and pushed out to the PC when called for.
There are pros & cons to each.
