It was that many years ago it was very easy to adopt a child, now a days it is so hard and costly. Is there anyone who knows of easier ways to adopt a child?

I don't know what you mean by many years ago. We completed our adoptions in 1989. It took us 6 1/2 years to adopt. Why? State laws. I don't know that anything has changed except the agencies background checks which are much more extensive due to the rises in child abuse and child pornography. The processes are the same in public or private agency adoptions:
Background checks, social workers investigation, financial investigation, work history investigation, home study, placement and follow up.
In so called "open adoption" a lot of the investigatory work is optional as I understand it. You will still have to have a home study from a registered social worker to finalize the adoption but the process could be quicker albeit more expensive.
The fastest would probably a one on one adoption and probably the least hassle but the expense varies widely.

Best way to adopt a child is to let people know
your desire and hav them help u find a female
who is pregnant & wants to giv her child for adoption.
Many teenage girls hav children that they do not want,
so ask around or even put an ad out to see if there is
someone who is willing to give there child up.
