actually there are only 2 airlines that serve KL-Singapore route because the sector is protected and no open sky policy apply for the route.

They call it shuttle service which is operated by these 2 companies. at least 4 flights per day.

one is malaysia airlines and the other one is singapore airlines.

i've been to singapore from klia and i found it's cheaper to use SIA.

other alternative is to take airasia flight from KLIA to senai (johor bahru) and from there u can take cab or bus to cross the causeway. airasia is cheaper. the earlier you book the cheaper fare you will get.

Direct flights with best prices are always my preference. Malaysian Airlines has round trip flights to Singapore at noon on Aug 14 for around $233.

I don't think there are many choices for the fligts between KL
and Singapore. MH and SQ are the carriers on this route.
The cheapest way is to take 'shuttle flights' for which you
can't book your flights. Just go to the shuttle counter and take
your number. YOu'll be called when the departure time is
approached and there's seat for you.
