Her letter to him did put him on the spot. He did not want to be there. I think that is why he answered so many of his own questions. He wanted to answer as few as possible by others. She did show backbone and moxie, but I want the democrats to win in 08. I don't think the country is ready for Hillary. She is simply too polarizing. Every right wing wacko in the country would be sending in money to the Republican Party and buying anti Hillary bumper stickers. I like Joe Biden. He has been an outspoken critic of the Bush administration and Rumsfeld. We are better served as democrats to keep Hillary in the Senate. She has exceeded most expectations.

Hillary Clinton will carry around the stink of her husbands dishonorable behavior for her entire career. She doesn't stand a snowballs chance in hell at getting elected to the office of president...
Repuglicans & DemoQuacks alike are more a problem to our political process than anyone cares to admit..
Hillary is a very smart and successful lady..but the majority of Americans can't think well enough to truly understand her....It is sad, but the likely hood is that in next election the public will elect someone underquallified, with no real vision for change, who is more concerned with their own interests again.... because they will be fooled by the sound bite or the 30 second vid-clip......

I wouldn't say she is a democrat with backbone - I'd say that she is very calculating and opportunistic. She did yesterdays smack down to boost the Dem's anti-war image because one of her 3-term buddies is losing to his unexperience 1st tem Dem rival.
Please don't join the Hillary bandwagon just because she is a woman. She has already proven herself to be an ineffective leader. She has shown that she's not willing to get into details herself and can't effectively manage people. She borrows power from where ever she can - even Jesus Christ himself - to make her image look better. She's partnered with her hubby of course and they are really covering all of the bases. They are doing one heck of a snow job trying to line her up for the nomination.
Remember that just because you are good at manipulating the media and populance - doesn't make you a good leader.

Yeah, just read it. Its high time she came round with her can of whoop ***! Nonetheless, lets not forget that shes probably going to get chewed up a bit for it. Im still not sure shes gonna have a chance at the presidency. Im thnkin that if the democratic party sends her out for the job, it will be an obvious forfeit. Remember, the america that elected GW Bush is the same america that still hates women in power. I dont think were ready.

HIllary is an ambitious mouth with serious moral problems, personally and socially--and has shown herself to be an issues-opportunist, which is always poison for a politican in the United States. The voters are NOT morons, despite the opinions of spin-meisters.
She does not stand any chance at all of becoming president. NONE!

I really have mixed emotions on this one. I thought she maneuvered herself well with the upcoming elections - especially since she has to cater to a more liberal base. I thought she had some valid points with how keeping the peace is much harder than anticipated. I thought Rummie was caught off guard but really couldn't dispute some of her claims. I was disappointed that there was only criticism and no solutions offered. I was only able to see highlights of McCain & Clinton - so I have no idea of what else was discussed.
It definately made her look really good to some people (Kookoo) and others just saw politics. I am really undecided at this point - let's see what else the future holds.

No I do not think it helps her one way or another but it was amusing to watch a strong woman take control!! I am a republican by registration but I have to say that woman has balls. On the radio this morning they asked who between Clinton and Rumsfeld would win in a drinking contest and it was voted hands down that Clinton would drink him under the table plus some. I do wish her the best it is nice to have smart, strong women to look up to who are not afraid to be exactly who they are.

Hillary has no chance. Rumsfeld is an easy target, but Hillary will be exposed for the shill that she is, blowing with the wind however she can.
By the way, this so-called "smackdown" did not make any press. Anywhere.

I'm glad she raked Rumsfeld over the coasl. I do not believe she is a viable candidate (too divisive). So I hope not. There are better qualified people out there and we need to get the Rep/Nazis out of power.
How much backbone did she show when she "stood by her man" while he made a fool of her before the world?
Better Obama.
