Depends if you've got young family - Bellagio are not hugely keen on kids running around, and unfortunately neither are most of the upscale restaurants.

If the kids aren't a problem, AquaNox at Venetian is a good sociable seafood spot and good at catering at large parties. Max's Cafe at Paris or the Eiffel Tower also have good views. Bellagio restaurants are rather stiff for a party, but DEFINITELY round off your evening with drinks at the Fontana bar - you really can't beat the front row seat for the fountains.

If you do have young rugrats, it's possible they'll refuse service in some places BUT you still won't be comfortable in most of the top restaurants - and anywhere where you have to cross a casino floor may present problems if you have overzealous security staff about. ALWAYS ASK SPECIFICALLY ABOUT KIDS BEFORE BOOKING AND GET THE BOOKER'S NAME.

Margaritaville at the Flamingo, on the other hand, is an astonishingly tacky but full-on Vegas experience and they love kids to bits - stilt walkers, balloon hats, the lot.

I got married at The Grove in Las Vegas and it was the best thing I ever did.

If you have a big budget, I would recommend hiring a Limo and travelling to Lake Mead, where they do dinner cruises, which is what I did.

The food was not as good as you would get in the Strip restaurants, however it was extremely romantic. The cruise takes you to the bottom of Hoover Dam and when it gets all dark the starts are sparkling so bright in the sky. There is romantic music - what more do you want.

If you wanted to stay on the strip, I would suggest one of the restaurants by the Lake at the Bellagio.

I hope the wedding all goes well.

If you'd like views of the Bellagio fountains and Strip, try Olives at Bellagio, Mon Ami Gabi at Paris or the Eiffel Tower Restaurant at Paris (Mon Ami Gabi is the most cost-effective and they could not have been more helpful in organising our own wedding reception in September).

The site below lists restaurants with the best views in Las Vegas, and also lists all the venues with fixed priced menus that can cater for large parties.

Have fun - and good luck!

There is only one place in Las Vegas

Go to the Top of the World (atop the Stratosphere hotel)
This will be a meal and evening to always remember; just the place to celebrate your wedding

We were there 6 weeks ago for a 50th birthday celebration
and it was an incredible experience (I saw the restaurant on the Food Network)

See the website at http://www.topoftheworldlv.com/

You MUST make reservations !!!!

I can't think of anything more tacky than a Vegas wedding so why not try something in the same vane for dinner like an all you can eat buffet.

Any of the restaurants at Bellagio--they all have view of the fountains. My faves are Jasmines and Prime. I also like Circo if you need something a little less expensive.
Congrats!
