No one. If I can't take everyone, I will stay behind and suffer with them. I wouldn't be able to be happy without everyone I love.

I have not selelcted anyone from your group so I guess I did not answer the question asked.
However, the first thing came to my mind was my daughter and my dog, then I thought about it. Whats the use in me taking one person when we all add to the universe in one way or another. No man is an Island, no man stands alone. What would or could only two persons do?
So in saying all of that...............I would definitely stay. What's the use in sparing my life to go die of worry. Worrying about all the other people that have touched my life whether in a good or bad way.
I would stay . Its better to die by explosion than by the fear of the unknown.

Hate to play the martyr, but if the earth goes and I'm only allowed to take one person, I'd give up my position so that I could at least be with "all" of my loved ones when the $##% hits the fan.

I would take another person out and I wouldn't leave either. The people that you list would not be afraid to explode with the Earth because their souls would meet together, anyway, in heaven.

Well-it has to be a man so we can pro-create. Too bad I am "fixed" so I will have to replace myself with a younger woman. So I will send my youngest daughter in my place and pick out a "survivor" person from the TV to be her mate to recreate the human race.

I couldn't choose who is more improtant in my life. Every one of those people you say I could take mean the world to me. If any of them were going to die in an earthly explosion I'd rather stay here with them all. This way we all would be going to the same place (I hope).

What would be the point? And, to where would we go? To some cosmic Motel 6? My family would all check out together.

In theory, I would stay.
But based on those options, my wife. I wouldn't want to take my child and have them end up alone when I die. I wouldn't take a parent because then I would probably end up alone.

My dog. If I survive myself and am the only one, I will want companionship but not the misery of having to discuss what happened. I'll take my dog and look forward...
