Most people marry for love, however there have been some who did not and fell in love til later. Although I wonder why you have not consummated your relationship. Is it out of fear or are you not attracted to each other? Most marriages, are consummated on the first night together. It usually stems from a desire of love and a desire to please. I have heard of arranged marriages before. It must be very difficult for you. If you are both in love, why not try to enjoy every aspect of marriage? Try a nice romantic dinner, music and see what happens...go slow, and enjoy yourselves. Get to know each other.

I would think so. You just met right? Why would you want to do that with a stranger??

I did not want any man that way before I met my husband. ( We did not have an arranged marriage). You need time to learn about the other person, develop respect and compassion for the other's feelings. When you really connect emotionally and mentally then it will just fall into place.

You should discuss this with your husband. How old are you? How old is he? If you love him and he loves you - although the marriage had been arranged - there should not be any problem. The question is more: Do you want to have sex with your husband? Do you? Then take the initiative.

In a normal marriage, it's not normal, but in an arrange marriage, i think it's normal. You guys need to get to know each other better before going to the next level.

There is a difference in love & passion. While you may love each other, you may not be attracted to one another. Especially when the marriage was arranged.

Sit your husband down & discuss what the both of you are wanting from this marriage; including sex.
