you mean 737, 747, 757, or 767. they all travel at high sub-sonic speeds, about 600 mph, more or less, depending on headwind, and cruise at about 35,000 feet (approx. 7 miles up!).

a 742 airplane? no such airplane exists... unless its a designation i am not familiar with... what company builds it?
are you talking about a Boeing 747, 757, 777, 737? Maybe an airbus 380,360...

A 747 goes about 700MPH

don't mean to call you out, but a 747 does not go 700mph, unless you have A HECK of a tailwind!!! I'd say 525ish
