I am going on holiday to Jordan tomorrow for 4 weeks and I want to make the most of it. What sights can I see? What things can I do? Where can I go? I prefer answers that are listed.

10 points will be awarded to anyone who jots down the longest list.

I want each answer set out like: e.g. 25 things to do in Jordan before you leave! (or similar)

Good Luck All!

Jordan is quite safe.
See Petra which is the most unusual place in Jordan, make sure you go up to the Monastery, it's a steep climb but worth it.
Little Petra nearby , built by the same people but much smaller.
Wadi Rum ,further south ( don't believe the crap they tell you about the Seven Pillars of Wisdom, they were only ever an abstract idea) you go for a drive in the desert here.
The castle of Kerak
Jerash , superb roman ruins and chariot racing in theold arena.
The roman theatre in Amman and the museum
Qasr Hraneh - caravansrai in the eastern desert.
Qasr Amra - Palace of Caliph Walid 1
Qasr Azrak - Roman Castle used as a base by Lawrence of Arabia in WW1
Mount Nebo - The moses memorial church.
Um ar Rasas - St Stephens Church mosaics.
Wadi Mujab for the view.
Madaba - St Georges Church - earliest map of Palestine in mosaics.
The Dead Sea - Movenpick Spa Hotel.
The Red Sea at Aqaba for some relaxation.
This time of year it will be extremely hot ; always carry a bottle of water and wear a hat in the sun.
Allow at least 2 days at Petra if you can.
To the places in the Eastern desert it's best to go on organised trips as you are getting near the Iraq border but generally security is good and the local people are friendly if you respect them.
