Young single guys do - until they learn that bragging about how good their girlfriend is, seems to be invitation for their buddies to have a go with the girlfriend.
Married men seem not to do this as much for two reasons (there probably are a few more) (1) They don't want their buddies wondering what it would be like for them to have a go with the wife or (2) Wife isn't as good looking as the other guys wives and buddies don't want to picture him getting busy with the "not as attractive" wife.
I guess some guys are more private than others and just wouldn't brag.
Aloha!!

Yesterday my wife and I were sitting on the couch when my friend called. We were chatting about work, etc. My wife chuckled and dared me to tell him that I had my hand down her pants. (I did, so I did.)
That's the one and only time I've mentioned my sex life to anyone.
In my first marriage, I talked to my best friends often, because it was so bad I was looking for some kind of advice, some kind of solution...

Before she died the only person i told how good in bed she was was her. That was out of respect to her and to let her know how much i loved her. Bragging about something like that to anyone else is disrespectful to me.

Nope. I have too much respect for my wife to share that kind of info.
I've always discussed my sex life (when it comes up) in the vaguest possible terms, by usually saying that ours is a "healthy" one.

I don't and it is my opinion that those who brag are actually lying. i think that in most cases nothing happens and the braggart is usually telling others what he wished had happened not what actually happened.
As for me what my wife and I do , it is not for public knowledge.

I don't think that men do talk about their women like that. Usually they have too much respect and love for them.

Our private sex life is private...I don't share anything with any of my buddies. I respect my wife.

the immature ones do. I discuss sexual topics with friends but never anything directly related to my sex life. I use to do that when I was younger and dumber, but my sex life isn't any of their business nor is theirs mine.

it's either joyous pride or very bad self-esteem. if you want to share the 'good news' ok. if you need to 'brag' and show off for others, it's poor self-esteem.
