You said you had a running nose lately,so I can say that everything you feel should not make you too nervous. You know, our nose has a passage (in the nasopharynx) connecting to an ear tube called eustachean tube. If you have colds,it can make an eustachean tube blocked if some of the discharges had entered. What happens then? Blockage of the tube will make pressure changes inside the ear that is why you felt all the things you described. What you can do? Blow your nose gently.Drink lot of fluids-warm fluid will be of great help.Take antihistamine. This is really uncomfortable but it will just go eventually as your running nose gets better.Do not blow your ear as this will possibly let the discharges in your eustachean tube to be pushed to your middle ear which will put you to risk of getting an inner ear infection. How you will know if you have ear infection? you will notice an ear discharge with bad smell. If you will not take care and if you will get a recurrent inner ear infection it can cause loss of hearing but it takes a long process to end it this way. Just take care and don't make yourself to worry that much. If you don't feel good ,go and see your doctor once more.

Yes, I experience it a couple years a go, my sister said, there's something wrong with my nose. Then she said again, try to swallow hard, like you did when you see Pamela Anderson. Haha...
