No. Being gay and believing in a religion are not a conflict, unless the religion is anti -gay, then he should consider a change. As long as a person is a decent and honorable person, their sexuality should not matter. Judging is up to God, not people.
Homosexuality is genetic, not a choice, it does not make a person bad.

Depends on the religion. If it's a religion that condemns homosexuality then it's tough for a hypocrite to have leadership in any context.
