i changed my back ground and made it so i could play and wach a cd-rom now i only get sound from a game or a cd. i have tried to roll back, nuthing is muted and the speekers are working fine. please some one help me i am going a bit mad with out my music while i study. i have gone as far as to try and down load my sound card agen but it is still there and the computer says that it is still working. what in the world did i do. please help me

how do i install the software that is on my driver and utilities. i dont know how to get there. my husband is the computer wiz not i. he is just to busy to mess with my mess.

u need to install the software that is on ur drivers and utilities cd thats it .

Have you look at your volume control under accessories? Perhaps they are turned off.
