because they are different than us and many don't understand or want to understand their life or culture and people don't accept their differences. that is how the west has always been if you take a look at history you will see how the west conquers and imposes their culture on people.

Why doesn't the MiddleEast value the West life? I don't see the MiddleEast jumping in when the West is in trouble.
I'm not saying that I don't care about the arabs, muslims or indians (my boyfriend is Lebanese, and I care very much what is happening), but our country, as with all countries, has an instinct and a job to look out for ourselves first...selfish as it may be. I can't speak for everyone, but I value all life and pray for peace in all countries, and hope it comes for all races, religions, colors and cultures.

Not sure I understand you but most people have a high respect for other people's lives and religion. I do. Everyone has a right to have their own life and way of life. I think the problem comes when some groups try to force their own way of life down somebody elses throat - nobody likes that. Today's issues are mainly revolving around the extreme Muslim policies of trying to effectively take over the world and force that religion on us all - is it a wonder we are fighting back???

Because the Arabs and Muslims are Muslim and the Indians smell curry.

some would say, arabs dont, why would we?
but then thats not really the way most of us feel.
we value all life. thats why we tried to free iraq, failing horribly but still trying.
america is a land of diversity, culture from around the world exists here and is welcomed. we give the most to poor countries and those with natural disasters. and we are hated for it.
we create jobs and new markets and are hated. we step in to stop 2 parties from killing each other, trying to spread peace throughout the world and we are accussed of meddling.
its a fine line to walk and no one is perfect. we make mistakes just like you do. so why all the hate towards us? for trying to help?

The west does not value our life because they haven't experienced the joys we have here and thats why we become an object of their ridicule

What makes you think we do not. A better question maybe is why do arabs and muslims hold the lives of Israelis so cheaply.

Perhaps the west measures value in ways that are unclear to you.

Ditto the first two answers. They do generally value all life (though around half don't value unborn life).

you are confusing issues. the west doesn't like fundamentalists and extremists that doesn't value life in the west and make everything possible to destroy it.
