He should really think it through. Does he want kids? If he does, would he be willing to adopt? It might not be safe for her to have her own(they can usually keep the baby from getting it, but her health may suffer). Is he willing to go through all the ups and downs with her? Is he willing to ALWAYS be safe about sex?
I have some friends and one is HIV positive. They have a wonderful relationship, and have adopted three kids. It is not always easy, but in many ways the healthy partner compares it to cancer. He would not have left over that, and he says the precautions are worth it. They have been together for 16 years, and it has never been passed. With the meds available now, she will probably live a fairly long and healthy life.
It is possible to have a good marriage, he just needs to know whether he can handle it!

Hey
is he asking you? No He shouldnt marry her, unless he has already done the deed with out protection. Why would you put a potential family in that position. He should stay with her, but I dont believe marriage is good for them. I would tell my son the same thing.

It's a managable disease now, and who knows, in ten years, they might find a cure for it.
They should do what makes them happy. Marriage isn't just about sex or producing children.
