Hi, I've been a reiki master/teacher for many years. It's a wonderful healing modality that works through the universal energy. There are hundreds, if not thousands, of web pages explaining it. Best of luck! And namaste :-)

I have had reki done and I love it don't ask what they do cause i just close my eyes and let her do her thing. I know that it is energy work and that we can have too much energy in one part of our body and not enough in others and they correct that and get rid of the negative energy.

Do you mean "reki" or "reiki" because if it's the second you can try the link below. My uncle was reading up on it and trying it himself. I think my mom is pretty interested in it, too.

The administrator moves their hands over the person laying down. This can be done with or with physical touch. Supposedly there is an energy force or field surrounding all living things. This creates a feeling of calm for both people.
I'm the administrator for my dog. She lets me know if I'm doing it right by repositioning her body that will give her the most Karma.

Yes. It's called rei ki. And it's occultic. The idea is that there is power in the hands. A person who practices rei ki will ask if they can pray for yu and put their hand near your head or some part of your body and pray. They think they can heal that way.
I think it is not of God, but an evil spiritual practice.

my insight into this is: as one's intent is; uplifting (healing) in nature than outcome is; uplifting(healing). reki is just a "label" or form of ; intending energy > on a path; through the 'path' of the palms of outstreched hands.
