Yes, you should be ok wearing a pad. Be sure to change it often. Tampons, on the other hand, you shouldn't wear one when you don't have your period.

I'm curious...why would you want to? I know a person who does because of some issues with incontinence.

yes you can especially if you have a discharge because it will make you feel a bit fresher since the stuff wont go in your underwear plus its better to be safe than sorry. The only thing you cant wear is a tampon if you arent on your period or havent had one.

Pads are icky. Go with a thin panty liner if you are anticipating having your period. And I strongly recommend tampons.

yea u can ware ur pad when u dont have ur period. it kinda helps 2 ware it it makes u get use 2 it more personaly i dont becasue its unconftorbale and i cant wait 2 take it off but maybe u feel diffrent

Why not? some people do all the time, it just makes them feel cleaner, my m-i-l wears them all the time and she had a hysterectomy when she was 30.

you can wear a pad whenever you want, they are uncomfortable, so i wouldn't recommend it, unless you have to.

way would u want to? if its cuz ur having discharge, get a thin pantie liner, otherwise i dont see y u'd want to for no reason.

i guess you could but why would you want to? unless you mean wear a panty liner, to keep your panties clean from discharge.
